A very good friend of mine sent this to me the other day, I can't stop thinking about it and watching it, its fantastic, so just HAD to share it on here,

As for me I'm off to London tomorrow to do a photo shoot in the Houses of Parliment, it should be a great day, i'm really looking forward to it, now off to pack my cameras, tripod and make some sandwiches for breakfast as i know i wont have time to eat before I leave in the morning!

 

A palindrome reads the same backwards as forward.
This video reads the exact opposite backwards as forward.
Not only does it read the opposite, the meaning is the exact opposite.

This is only a 1 minute, 44 second video and it is brilliant! 
Make sure you read as well as listen...forward and backward.

This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20-year old. 
The contest was titled "u @ 50" by AARP. This video won second place.
When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke
into spontaneous applause.  So simple and yet so brilliant.

Bank Holday Weekend Fun

Yay it's bank holiday weekend and i'm spending most of it decorating my house!

Bank holidays don't really make a difference to us as i'm a self employed so work every hour i physically can, and my husband works away for weeks at a time in the middle of the North Sea! so things like bank holidays, easter and christams are a bit hit or miss depending on where he is at the time!

He's actually home at the moment so we're making most of our time together .. by decorating!!

well actually half the time has been standing in queues in our local DIY store, it seems like everyone has the same idea!

We did manage to get over to a local RSPB nature reserve this morning and took a few picture, i'll have to sort them out later as i'm still wading though pictures from the last few months and my computers hard drive is running out of room fast!

I also added a few new items in my shop this morning but must spend some more time on it over the next few days as there's so much to do .... please can someone slow time down just for a few days so i can catch up, i have another hectic week next week and wouldn't mind some quality sofa time soon!

Sushi and Snoring

Yay my husband came home last night, he works away for a couple of weeks at a time in the middle of the north sea.
It's good to have him back, but just wish he didn't snore and keep me awake for most of the night!
I get quite used to sleeping by myself then he comes back and turns my peaceful haven in to a hazardous area! ... It's not too bad though as i've had the day off work and might treat myself to an evening off too (thats the problem with being a freelance designer and photographer, the working day never ends!)
We have sushi and soya beans for tea followed by trifle then maybe a film and an early night .... what a great day :o)

What NO Apocalypse?

Well i've woken up this morning and it seems like they misjudged the promised Apocalypse and the world is still here!

or could it be that me and my cat are the only ones left ....... or has everyone turned in to zombies?? (it kinda reminds me of the film 'I am Legend' with Will Smith and his dog!)

I'm venturing outside in a little while, it's too nice and sunny here to stay in and i have a dinner date set with my parents a bit later so it seems i have a good day planned.

I'm sure i'll be woking on my shop when i get back later as I haven't had a chance for the last few weeks and i have lots more photos and designs to add.

What time is the world ment to end ?

Hmmm I heard the world was ment to end at 6pm this evening, just as i was thinking we'd all survived it I read it's ment to end at 10pm, then someone else said 11pm Aagghhh how much time have we got, i was planning on watching it out of my bedroom window and need to get the kettle on in time for a nice cup of tea!!

As busy as a bee

Pin It wow what a busy few weeks it's been!
We got back from Cornwall then went to London & Manchester last week.
We were filming in the day and photographing at night, I can’t say too much about the job as it’s confidential, but it was great fun and lots of hard work!

We traveled back last Friday night while watching a beautiful sunset out of the train window, only to see a beautiful sunrise the next morning as I’d been catching up with emails and other work all night! Time flies!

I’ve been working on a couple of websites, getting some designs ready for print and adding new products to my shop for the rest of the week and finally feel I’ve caught up .. Now it’s time to sort out all the photos from Cornwall and get them online before my computers harddrive is completely full!
